Community Involvement
Dan Leslie is heavely involved in his community as he believes in giving back and providing support to those in need. Dan Leslie is the chairman of the Executive Advisory Board for the University of Akron Fisher Institute for Professional Selling. Dan is also a member of the Summit and Medina County Workforce Investment Board which is an advisory board that directs the uses of workforce development funds in our counties, coordinates with economic development efforts, and develops strategies to address major workforce development needs. He was recently recognized as a leader in his industry, as well as a leader in the Akron Community, when he was named as a member of the 2008 class of The Greater Akron Chamber’s 30 For The Future and recognized in Northern Ohio Live Magazine. Dan is a member on the Small Business Council for the Greater Akron Chamber and he is involved with the Inner City Leadership Program for Akron. He is the Business Committee Chairman for the Boy Scouts of America Greater Cleveland Friends of Scouting Fundraising Campaign He is also a published author and speaker on sales and ideas to a chieve financial security. He co-authored a book collaborating with the University of Akron's marketing department titled, Marketing in the 21st Century.
